Aimed at children aged 8-13 and RYA Stage 2-4 who can sail competently on the wind, tack and gybe confidently around a small racecourse and are keen to start racing but would like a less busy start line than the main races.

This is a relaxed, fun and encouraging session aimed at providing your young sailors with an opportunity to practise using their watches, starting, finishing and re-enforcing rules at the same time.

We run these sessions in single handers and the natural progression is that they can then join in with the main racing.

If you are unsure about whether you child is ready, please speak to Tiff who will be happy to talk you through the requirements or arrange an assessment.
